Bible Verse of the Day Friday November 4th 2022

Ephesians 1:2 Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

There is not a more eloquent or profound greeting or meaningful salutation given to each other as humankind as this heavenly duet of grace and peace. This God-inspired greeting is found in almost all of the writings of the Apostle Paul, as we see here in his letter to the Church in Ephesus. It is only through God’s love and grace that we can experience any of His attributes and uniqueness.

It is only through the grace of God that we can ever experience the peace of God, that surpasses and exceeds the perception and awareness of all of humankind (Philippians 4:7). There is no other pathway to receiving God's Love than through His amazing grace. It is only through the Grace of God that humanity is freed from the bonds and chains of the slavery of sin. It is only through and by God’s grace and love that He devised, planned, and created His great plan for the salvation of all humankind. It is only through the grace of God that any of us will ever be able to find forgiveness for our sins and be found righteous before God, in our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus (Romans 3:10).

It is only through the amazing grace of God that His children, through the process of sanctification, are being transformed into the representation and resemblance of Christ Jesus. Although we will never reach that plateau in this life, through the love and grace of God we can grow closer and closer to Him as every day passes. There is a glorious day approaching that all that are in Christ Jesus will receive a new and resurrected body through which we will be able to stand before His glorious manifestation. At that glorious day all that have placed their faith and trust in Christ Jesus, as their Lord and Savior, all that have surrendered their lives to Christ Jesus and the furtherance of His Gospel will then be able to see God, as He truly is (1 John 3:2).

There are many different forms of grace found in God’s Holy Word. We find that there is a saving Grace but there is a supporting grace as well (2 Corinthians 12:9; James 4:6). In His writing the Apostle Peter describes God as the “God of all grace” because the grace He gives is twofold, for the salvation of the world and the everyday walk of those that place their faith and trust in Him (1 Peter 5:10).

Grace is God’s wherewithal and readiness for the ones that place their faith and trust in Him. God’s peace, on the other hand, is what those that experience that amazing grace benefit from every step they take in this life. We can never attain or acquire the peace of God through our abilities or accomplishments, it is only available to those that know God’s grace. Attempting to live our lives without the grace of God will result in a life of an absence of God’s peace.
