Ephesians 3:10-11 His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The
heavenly dominions observe us with captivation. We are the documented subject
the world discusses, the "animals in the zoo." The divine beings are
talking about us around the water cooler, and they can't get enough. Why do we
think that is? They are watching us to learn more about Jesus.
The presentation is not for
entertainment; it is a harmony of truth and meaning. We display God's great
wisdom and love in our lives here. Cherished and highly esteemed, we are
working to help make known the eternal purposes of Divinity. How can that be?
We can do something that they can't, and that is live by faith. Angels are
fascinated by the unique ability of those of us in the earthly realm to
express trust in God through belief, a sight to behold. Observing us living by
faith, they learn more about the creator of all things. Our faith demonstrates
the wisdom and power of The Creator. It brings our Heavenly Father further into
worship. Witnessing this marvelous workout causes the angels to turn toward God
with a standing ovation.
Our faith choices help display
God's majesty and bear witness to His Greatness. We are significant players in
this narrative. We can anchor our belief in the Truth of God while living in a
world filled with many other options. Pursuing and discovering a proper
perspective, committing to it, and living it out is a fascinating and holy
thing throughout the complete universe.
The church is a large part of God’s
plan whereby He reveals and displays His wisdom to rebellious angels as well as
to good angels. He does this despite any weakness the church might have. The
church is the theater for angels to see what God is doing in the world.
1 Corinthians 4:9 For it seems
to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession,
like those condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a
spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to human beings.
The church is the schoolhouse
for the angels and serves as an educational tool for the immaterial world of
all heavenly beings so that they may learn about God's fabulous wisdom for all
creation. They can see how God is justified in the things He does. These
heavenly beings will know how time and space will end in victory for God's good
purposes.
