Bible Verse of the Day Saturday March 27th 2021

Psalm 100:1-4   Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth. Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs. Know that the Lord is God. It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name

Christ Jesus is our Shepard, our sustainer, and our Savior. His Salvation comes to us so that we might be able to live out eternity with Him, instead of being separated from God forever, in an awful place called hell.

This Salvation, which fills our hearts with joy and gladness, gives us a desire to come before Him in worship and praise, for His honor and His glory. The foundation of these verses in Psalm 100 is that we do not only praise God for what He has done through Christ Jesus; moreover, we also Praise Him with our joyful and faithful service to our Lord and Savior. Our service to the Lord comes out of the Love we have for Christ Jesus as we surrender to the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit. The grace and mercy of God have no beginning or has no end; it is eternal. Before God laid the world's foundation, His plan of Salvation for us was in place. God has had our Salvation in His heart from eternity past.

God personally chose us and knew us when He chose us for redemption before the world's cornerstone was laid (Ephesians 1:4).

We must always keep in our hearts and minds that the promises of God are everlasting, the great and wonderful promises of God will never come to an end, and that will never change (Deuteronomy 28:1-4; Hebrews 11:33-34; 2 Corinthians 1:20).

The truth of God in His Holy Word, the Bible, is a solid rock that we can build upon. Consequently, it is our honor and privilege to be chosen by God to spread the Good news of His gospel to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8), to help other people understand the eternal grace and mercy found only through Christ Jesus. Not one of us will ever know any self-righteousness (Romans 3:10); however, because of the righteousness of Christ that lives within us, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, we have access into the courts of God, we can kneel at the very throne of God Himself. The very heartbeat that we accepted Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior and surrendered our lives to Him, God freely credits the righteousness of Jesus to us. In other words, because of Jesus, we become righteous in the eyes of God (Romans 4:5-6; 22-24). That in itself is enough to bring joy to our hearts and souls that cannot be explained with mere human words. But God does not stop there; He sends us the Holy Spirit to indwell inside of our hearts and souls, to watch over and walk with us until we go home to be with the Lord (John 14:26). Moreover, with our Salvation and the Holy Spirit of God's indwelling to lead, guide, and direct our every step, He begins a process of spiritual growth in us.

This process is called "Sanctification" and is carried out through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, as we follow the Lord in faith. As we continue to grow in Christ, the Holy Spirit performs His sanctification work in our hearts and minds, which changes us from the inside out and gives us a new heart (Ezekiel 36:26; Psalms 51:10). It's the process of sanctification, carried out by the Holy Spirit, who changes us into dedicated, loyal, and faithful followers of Christ Jesus. He makes us more sensitive to the things of God, which in turn brings more joy, happiness, and peace to our lives, despite the turmoil, unrest, and disorder that is going on in this lost, dark, and dying world in which we live. Thank and praise God we are only passing through this world, as "foreigners and exiles" (1 Chronicles 29:15; 1 Peter 2:11).
