Bible Verse of the Day Sunday April 11th 2021

John 2:24 But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people.

Our Lord and Savior Christ Jesus is the specific picture of the unseen God, who existed before anything made and is preeminent over all creation. Even though Christ dismissed His heavenly glory for a season, to be naturally introduced to humankind and become our savior and redeemer, it did not decrease His divine characteristics, and His heavenly standings and character were undiminished. One of God's divine qualities is His all-knowingness. God is all-knowing, all-wise, and all-seeing. God peruses the human heart's considerations, and He even knows the thought process behind our reasoning. God realizes that the contemplations in humans' psyche are just malicious consistently - for that none have any righteousness of their own, not so much as one (Romans 3:10).

Moses discloses to us that God sees the considerations moving in the human heart and soul, and Solomon declares: the LORD looks through all hearts and considers every one of the contemplations of Humanity (1 Samuel 16:7). Isaiah proclaims how Israel acted erroneously towards God, getting some distance from Him, with uncontrolled words and hearts loaded up with deception. Paul advises us that none are righteous, and none seek after the Lord (Romans 3:10-12).

Despite the fact that Jesus decided to live and work and say and do just those things that He heard from the Father, He was still all-knowing (Omniscience) and knew the substance of the human soul. The people were pursuing Him around the byways of Jerusalem, and they became energized when they saw the miracles He performed. They began to have confidence in Him, however, not for who He was, just for what they could get from Him. They saw the numerous signs and miracles that Jesus did, and most followed Him for selfish reasons, for what He could do for them. In any case, Christ knew their hearts, He knew their contemplations, and He knew their thought processes. Jesus knew whether their pronounced confidence was from a real heart of genuine faith towards God and a longing to live a life of faith in God, or it was just fake confidence that they were following Him for egotistical intentions.

We may look with shock or even judgmental eyes upon those that followed Christ for some unacceptable reasons. We ought to always remember that we are all united in God's assessment of all people, for we are all labelled as sinners. We have all dropped the ball in living a perfect life according to God’s Law. Let none of us ever forget that it is only through God’s love, mercy, and grace that we are given an opportunity to accept the free gift of salvation through Christ Jesus. It is only because of Calvary’s Cross and His resurrection that we can grow and mature in a life surrendered and dedicated to being a witness to spread the Gospel of Christ Jesus to all people.  Christ Jesus does not want us to do anything for Him personally, we have nothing that He needs. He wants us to focus on letting the world know of His love for all people and that He wants all to come to a knowledge of the Saving grace that comes only through Him (1 Timothy 2:4).
