Bible Verse of the Day Thursday April 22nd 2021

Romans 3:3-4a What if some were unfaithful? Will their unfaithfulness nullify God’s faithfulness? Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar.

When the truth is repudiated, distrusted, rejected, doubted, or treated with contempt, it does not modify the facts. The truth will stand when everything else fails, and the earthly materialistic outlook that has engulfed legislative hallways of power, our educational establishments, civilization in general, and even portions within God's Church decrees that truth is relative. However, there is not one single thing on the earth, in the heavens above or the deepest sea, that can annihilate the truth of God's Word. There is not anything that the worldly person can come up with that can invalidate the absolute truth of God's Word. This world we call home will one day burn with fire; the sun, moon, and all the stars will burn out (2 Peter 3:10). Nonetheless, God's Word and its truth will stand firm throughout eternity.

In God's great love, grace, and mercy, He gave His one and only Son to be born into humanity, live a perfect, sinless life, and then give of Himself in a substitutionary manner for us, by laying down His life on the Cross of Calvary. Consequently, we can have Salvation, know eternal life as a free gift by and through the love, grace, and mercy of almighty God. As the fallen creatures that we all are, we will never be able to save ourselves, but through Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, we have been given away to avoid eternal separation from God in a place called Hell. God has made way for all to be saved, that is by a firm belief that Christ Jesus is the true promised messiah, that came to take away the world's sins, and that encompasses my sins and your sins.

It is sad, but there are millions upon millions of folks that simply refuse to acknowledge that Christ Jesus is the Savior of the world and reject His free offer of Salvation. Moreover, the denial and even the rejection of Christ Jesus as the Savior of the world does not invalidate God's faithfulness to keep every promise in His Holy Word. Promises like whoever believes in the Lord Christ Jesus will never perish but know eternal life (John 3:16).

The faithfulness of God is not reliant on us being faithful to Him; God's activities are not provisional on anything that would be outside of Himself. God is always true to His nature. We cannot repeal or revoke the faithfulness of God by falling into sin ourselves. God will always be true to His Holy Word; we can base our eternal life on that absolute truth. Every human being is a liar on one level or another, but God is and will always be true to Himself. God will always be true to you and me even if we are not faithful to Him. It is an impossibility for God to tell a lie (Hebrews 6:18, Titus 1:2; Numbers 23:19).
