Isaiah 55:8-9 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts
There are some people that believe that their way is the only way,
having an opinion on every aspect of life and not bashful in letting the world
know. Most people realized how much they didn’t know about raising kids after
they started having kids of their own. Then some must have everything going their
way or they will not play the game anymore, and if God does not follow thru
with their agendas, they are ready to walk away from God.
There are people in our lives that have some form of cancer, prayers go up, we trust God and He heals the person here on this earth and they are free from any sign of cancer. Then there are others that the same thing happens to, yet they are not healed here in this life and God calls them home to be with him (Jeremiah 10:23). Human nature will question why God heals some here in this life and some He does not. People wonder if God only heals those who have strong faith, or maybe He only heals those He loves greater than others. There are many places in the bible that makes it clear that this is not the case (Acts 10:34-35).
We see many of God’s people who had deep faith who were tortured,
some were marvelously freed from their captors while others were imprisoned, beaten,
and even killed. They all had one thing in common and that is they all
acknowledged the same faith in God. The truth of God’s Word was the same then
as it remains today, and will always be, and that is it is not a question of
God’s love, He loves us all the same. It is not about who has a stronger faith,
it is clearly about God’s sovereignty and His great wisdom that is far beyond
anything our minds will let us comprehend.
There are those of us that are up in years and live every day with
pain in our bodies, but we all have faith in God that everything in our lives
will be used for good through God (Romans 8:28). We look
forward to the day that we will receive our resurrected celestial bodies and
there will be no pain or suffering and we will be with our Lord and Savior for
eternity. God’s ways are not our ways and our acceptance of this is the first
step in a deeper faith, a closer and sweeter walk with our Savior here in this
life and in the life to come. There will be times that God will try our faith so that we will be able to experience His faithfulness.
