Romans 8:31-34a What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all —how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. Who then is the one who condemns? No one.
This scripture verse is a very encouraging reality: God is for us, and no power can come against us. Our eternal life is under God's control, and no power can take that away from us, so we do not have to live in fear concerning what happens when we leave this life (Psalm 46:1-3). Our Lord and Savior is the light of the world (John 8:12) that will keep our paths illuminated and, through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God, will lead, guide, and direct us through all that we go through. The faithful follower and believer in Christ Jesus can deal with the pressures of this life from a divine viewpoint because of the promises of God that we find in His Holy Word (Hebrews 13:6).
We have been given, by God, the greatest gift humankind will ever know, His one and only Son (John 3:16), so that we will never die but have eternal life. Do you believe that? (John 11:25-26). Because we have the gift of eternal life (Romans 6:23b), God will undoubtedly give us any gift we need as we follow His directive to spread the gospel to the ends of the earth.
In secular courts,
people say a person who attempts to defend themselves has a fool for a client.
The same goes for God's judgment seat; if a person tries to defend themselves,
it will not only be foolish but will result in an eternal separation from God in
an awful place called hell. Therefore, there is no self-justification, Jesus
paid our sin debt, and He is our advocate speaking for us to the Father (1 John
2:1; Romans 8:34).
