Psalm 95:6-7 Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for he is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice,
There is a gratifying and rewarding sense of significance in this verse of scripture (Psalm 95:6-7). There is a calm and tender and petition here: encouraging and urging the eyes that fall here to do right before God, which is also a great benefit to those who follow this precept.
We must remind ourselves consistently that we must bow ourselves before God and kneel in his presence in complete surrender and obedience.
We have many reasons we bow down and worship God. Among them is the fact that He is our creator, sustainer, and our savior. Therefore, we should come before our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, with gladness of heart and enthusiasm while acknowledging His Majesty.
It is not always easy to unite fervor with reverence, and sometimes as human beings, we attempt to extinguish one of these personas while at the same time struggling after the other.
