Throughout
Paul's writings, peace, love, and faith show up in unrestrained richness, but
there is always a great blessing whenever they rest upon the hearts that
journey through these messages from God. The peace of God is a generous
endowment that is the foundation of all we are and will ever be. The peace
allotted to all that believe and follow Christ Jesus is our priceless and
valued measure because our Savior has left it for us (John 14:27).
The
peace of God is not the peace that the world sees as peace; that would be the
absence of hostility. The world cannot comprehend God's peace because the world
views peace as a single dividing point, war, or peace. On the contrary, God's
peace is an unchained and unbound benevolence that surrounds and encompasses
all that follow the leading and direction of the Holy Spirit.
The amazing grace of God that bestows love on all who surrender themselves to His ways is far beyond the world's ability to fathom. God loved us so much that He sent His one and only Son to sacrifice his precious blood on the Cross to forgive our sins (Romans 5:8; John 3:16). The love of God is the power that binds all His children together in praise and worship of Him. Only God can combine peace and love to produce a faith that will propel us toward a life lived in step with our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus. Faith and trust in God will provide us with the propulsion needed to carry out His will on our lives and bolster us when we must engage in the spiritual battles that will ultimately come our way.
Peace,
love, and faith can only come from God our father through our Lord and Savior,
Christ Jesus. All Born again saved believers that labor and grapple in the
false hope that by some means they might achieve and acquire some advantage
with God will always end in ineffectiveness. The love of God working in
conjunction with our faith will provide for our every need that we cannot earn
and most certainly do not deserve.
Dr.
Tom Constable once wrote: Mutual love is the key to peace, and mutual love
rests on a common faith. The ultimate source of all three essential qualities
is God and Jesus Christ, united in perfect equality.
