Psalms 138:8 The Lord will vindicate me; your love, Lord, endures forever— do not abandon the works of your hands.
God has a life plan for each of us as His children, and the
most incredible thing we can accomplish in this life is to recognize that
purpose for our lives and follow through with carrying out that plan. We can
always rest assured that His plan for our lives will work out for good in this
life. We can always place our faith and trust in God's plan because it stems
from His wisdom and love for us. If we continue to seek God's will for our
lives, surrendering them to Him, it will work out for our good because it has
its foundation in God's love and wisdom. Sometimes in our walk with God, we
drift out of the stream of His will for our lives, but not out of the main
channel. If we do not abandon Him and His will for our lives, He will never
forsake us but use us in His mission of spreading the Gospel to all the world.
Satan leads many people to believe that God may somehow
lose control over our situations. However, God will never lose control over any
position we find ourselves in this life. God will never give up on us; we can
always trust He will intercede for us in whatever problems we might face. The
question before us is do we have faith in God that he will never leave or forsake
us. There is no end to God's grace; we will always receive grace for grace
(John 1:16). It is like standing beside a mighty running river. The water we
see at any given time is not the same water we saw a heartbeat before. It's
still the water but in continuous movement. God's love, mercy, and grace are
always in constant motion, ready to refresh us in our mission here on this
earth.
Nothing happens in our lives that God is not aware of. The
teaching that God is always aware of every event in our lives is, sad to say,
neglected in this day in age. It is very assuring to know that our lives are
not random occurrences, and that God is always in control of every aspect of
our lives. When we deposit our money in the bank, we have faith that money will
be there when we need it. If we choose to keep our money in some place in our
homes, there is a possibility we might lose that money through robbers or
housefires. When we commit our lives, hearts, minds, bodies, and souls to God,
we trust Him and grant Him the opportunity to do something with our lives. This
world has no sweeter peace than when we completely surrender our lives to God.
