Bible Verse of the Day Tuesday August 22nd, 2023

Job 19:25 I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth.

Over and above what this verse first communicated, we know that our Redeemer will return as the one riding the white horse in triumph and victory. What a day it will be when all the world's people will know Christ Jesus as our Lord and our Savior. He will come back as our conquering King in the ultimate conquest of the world. Christians enjoy redemption from sin eternally when they believe that Jesus died on the Cross for their sins. Jesus set us free forever from sin's slave market, redemption signifies emancipation from suppression and bondage. The believer in Christ Jesus possess redemption from their sin the heartbeat they believe in Christ and surrender their lives, heart, mind, spirit, bodies, and souls to the one that gave His life so that we could have life eternal.

The final judgment is an act of God. The Son carries the right from God to make the executive judgment. The Son must have unequivocal knowledge and faultless justice to implement faithful assessment. He must be able to judge the motives of the hearts of humankind to carry this out. The Son carries with him the sovereign right of the Father to complete justice for all humanity. The Son bequeaths spiritual life. He also has the flawless ability to judge who may obtain eternal life and who does not. He has sovereign power that is equal to the Father Himself.

Jesus asserted equality with the Father. Those who esteem the Son must hold Jesus in parity with the Father. Those who value the Son must do so by recognizing who He is. We accept His authority over us and His teaching as faithful and true. Anyone that rejects the Son also denies the Father. Since the Father does not act apart from the Son and the Son does nothing apart from the Father, we must honor both equally. All people that believe in and accept Christ Jesus as their Lord and Savior pass from eternal death to life everlasting at the heartbeat of belief. The judgment of the believer and the non-believer is categorically different. The followers of Christ will receive rewards at the Judgment Seat of Christ (Romans 14:10;2 Corinthians 5:10); the determination for salvation was complete at the first belief that Christ Jesus gave His life on the Cross for their sins and the sins of all that accept the sacrifice of the Son on the Cross as payment for their sin.

Each person is responsible for believing in receiving eternal life. This great gift is open to anyone who wants to hear the Father's interposition that He made this possible through His Son. Spiritual freedom is the current ownership of the believer because Jesus procured our liberty with His precious blood. All people that believe and accept that the Son covered our sin debt on the Cross possess forgiveness for all their sins. They are not required to wait for some point in the future that might afford them this privilege.
