Isaiah 29:15 Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord, who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?
We only fool ourselves when we think we can hide what we are
doing or even what we are planning from God. Some people might even feel
threatened by the Lord knowing our plans. However, the idea that God knows us
and always knows our plans, even before we carry them out, is a great blessing.
We know that God will always carry out justice and evaluate our misdeeds in
terms of our objectives. Furthermore, when people in our circle of friends do
something against us, they must answer to God, and we will not have to plot our
plans to get revenge.
We must be careful that we never attempt to manipulate the Word of God to fit our plans and desires because it disregards and flouts God's integrity. As ministries of God's Word, which is what every follower of Christ Jesus is, we must never adjust the gospel message to make it more flavorful. Satan will always tempt us to tell people what they want to hear rather than what God wants them to hear. Our calling from God is to serve and follow Christ Jesus, not acclimate the message of Christ we spread to make it more acceptable to people. The message of Christ is communally inclusive, but some are self-conscious of that because of some shame in their lives. Consequently, many Christians will temper and water down the truth of God's Word.
The truth of the gospel does not depend on its certification on people, even leaders of Christianity. The accreditation of divine truth rests on the message itself, not those who deliver it. The forthright proclamation of the substance of the gospel is what wins people. The most outstanding achievement we can attain in our lives on earth is that we are always faithful to spreading the gospel in truth and love. To ensure that we always hold to the truth of God’s Word, we must renounce all lies of Satan and surrender ourselves, heart, mind, body, and soul to Christ Jesus and His message of salvation by grace through faith.
