Ephesians 1:21-23 far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in the present age but also in the one to come. And God placed all things under his feet and appointed him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.
The victory Christ Jesus claimed by being at the right hand
of God is the victory that all followers and believers in Christ have. It is
critical that those who surrender to Christ and accepted him as their Lord and
Savior comprehend the greatness of Jesus, the one who empowers them. When Jesus
ascended to Heaven, God placed him above any other being in the universe. The
seat Jesus holds now shows his defeat over all his enemies (Psalm 110:1).
We do not have the strength or the power to resist Satan on
our own; we must be in total surrender to God. When we follow these biblical
principles, the only choice Satan will have is to flee from us. The object is
to always remember the supreme power of the resurrection Of Christ Jesus. (2
Timothy 2:8-10). The Body of Christ, the church, benefits greatly because of
the supremacy Jesus holds over all powers, earthly and heavenly. The first Adam
dropped the ball, so to speak, in his rule over his creation, the last Adam
succeeded in ruling over his creation, in heaven and on earth.
The surrendered life that all God’s people enjoy will
always stand on the work of Christ Jesus as the savior of the world. Through the
mission of Jesus, the church’s goal is to build up the members, teach gospel principles
and spread the good news of Jesus to its sphere of influence. God uses the
church to manifest His power and glory by the evangelist work of the members. As
part of a Body of Christ we cannot sit back and rely on only called out
missionaries to spread the gospel to the lost of this world. One of the members
of our bible study class at Pioneer has designed and ordered a small pinned 3-inch
button to be worn on our person that reads “Ask Me About Jesus.” This is just
one creative way to get a chance to tell people about the saving grace of
Christ Jesus. The important thing to remember is that there are millions of
people out there in the world today that do not know Jesus as their Lord and
Savior. The greatest thing that any human being can do for another human being
is to introduce them to the saving grace of Jesus.
