Kings 18:21 Elijah went before the people and said, “How
long will you waver between two opinions? If the Lord is God,
follow him; but if Baal is God, follow him.”
But the people said nothing.
The victors in the Kingdom of
God are the ones that reconcile their precarious concerns promptly and govern
them daily. In this way, we do not reevaluate them constantly. By following
this pattern, we can remove any emotion from the equation. This strategy will
help us not build a plan of action on transitory circumstances but instead
wait on God's will for our lives.
Belief and trust in the

of tribute offered to false gods is a dedication to them. As followers of
Christ, we are influenced by evil powers, but they cannot possess us. However,
no Christian can resist evil forces without the power of God, in and through
the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We cannot dine simultaneously at the tables
of evil and the table of God because we would be showing solidarity to the
forces of evil. In our communion services, we dine at the Lord's table. When we
eat at the Lord's table, we always remember the sacrifice of Christ Jesus on
the Cross to atone for our sins.
There
is an old saying: "What you eat is what you are" the Christian
equivalent is; "who we are is what we believe." There are many false
religions out there today, and they offer what seems like attractive beliefs.
These false religions are Satan's way of drawing followers of Christ away from
the truth. Jesus has told us that He is the only truth and the only pathway to
eternal life with God in a glorious place called heaven (John 14:6). Contrary
to the world's belief that there are multiple truths, even though they
constantly contradict each other, there is only one truth, the Word of God.
Therefore, we will find Satan hiding in the shadows of every false religion to
destroy us through religion.
