Isaiah 54:17 No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.
We shall be victorious against
Satan's evil because of God's grace and power. The final analysis of the book
of Revelation is our victory in Christ Jesus. Although our success climaxes in
Revelation, it demonstrates itself throughout the Word of God. This victory
over death is assured us from the many promises of God. We can only operate
with the knowledge that God is always with us through the promises garnered
from His Holy Word. Our victory will only come through an understanding of His
Word, not any feelings on our part. Without knowing God's Holy Word, we cannot
claim any victory in Jesus.
God is sovereign over every
step of our life. He arranges every one of the circumstances in existence. It
doesn't make any difference whether the circumstance appears to be fortunate or
unfortunate, are simple or complex, is seen in wellbeing or disorder; there are
no coincidences or misfortunes with God.
The "things" that
occur in our life will not always be great and wonderful in themselves, yet
God's orchestrating every step of our lives is always great. The
"things" in themselves will not always seem extraordinary at the
time; however, it is the working "together" of the occasions of our
lives that make it at last "great." All difficulties, mishaps, and
misfortunes happen for our long-term benefit (Psalm 25:10). Christ Jesus never
did promise us that we would not experience sickness. He promised us healing
(James 5:15); Jesus let us know that we would experience tribulation in the
present world but then told us not to worry because He has overcome the world
(John 16:33). Jesus also told us that no matter what happens in this life, it
is for the good of all that love Him (Romans 8:28).
The different components of a
cake, on their own, do not necessarily taste the best; however, when you mix
them all together and put them in the oven for a while, the finished product
becomes delicious.
