Bible Verse of the Day Monday October 3rd, 2022

Psalm 148:6, and he established them forever and ever — he issued a decree that will never pass away.

A magnificent unison of praise and worship is singing out in this great Psalm (Psalm 148) that encompasses every inch of the universe. Both animate and inanimate subdivisions of the creation of God harmonize in a great concert of reverence and adoration for their creator. Many worldly sources spend billions of dollars to determine the basis of the beginning of life on this orb we call earth. The opinions and thesis are becoming vaster and more complicated as time goes on, and it would take several PHDs to comprehend the complexity of the worldly views of the creation of the earth and the universe. Nevertheless, God set the foundations of the world in His great wisdom and strength. God placed the sun and the moon in their proper position and hung the stars. (Genesis 1:16).

God is the one that brought about the creation, and it is God that gives the eternalness and composition to all of His creation. Therefore, God created all things in heaven and earth for His glory. God's creation was not for the recognition of an individual that believes that they have discovered some new secret of the origin of the earth or the universe.

All things in heaven and on earth are governed and controlled by the eternal Word of God. It is the Word of God that spoke it all into existence, and it is the Word of God that keeps us all standing upright on this tiny ball floating in an endless universe. Nothing in or on God's earth is too superior to join in the celebration of worship and praise to its creator. There is also nothing in God's world that is too insignificant to chime in on the praise and worship. We see in this Psalm that the angels in heaven, the sun, moon, stars, the great creatures of the deepest oceans, the lightning, thunder, wind, hail, snow, and clouds join in the celebration of praise. The celebration includes the birds, small and large animals, the mountains and trees, kings and rulers, and all men, women, and children in the celebration of praise to the one who created and sustains us, the only true God.

Let us all rejoice in worship and praise God that founded and created all in heaven and all on earth and pronounced and proclaimed that we should never pass away but have eternal life. Let us never forget that it is because of the love, grace, and mercy of our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus, that willingly and joyfully went to the Cross of Calvary so that we might know and have eternal life. Therefore, let us all be eternally grateful that we can be a part of the celestial choir that brings honor and glory to our Lord and Savior, Christ Jesus.
