Ephesians 3:14-15 For this reason
I kneel before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth
derives its name.
When
we Humble Ourselves Before God's Great Love and Sovereignty, we will have a
joy-filled life of Love for God through Christ Jesus, our Lord. We experience
salvation by grace through faith, not by any religious works. There is a
difference between Christianity and all other religions and Christianity and
everything else. All of Satan's work in the world today is to hide this truth
of the Gospel.
God
saved us by His grace, which means He gave us something we did not deserve by
His great Love. And the grace of God works through our faith in Christ Jesus
with no consideration given by God for our good deeds. Yet, secular atheists
and every other religion will tell you it is all about you. That is Satan's
message spread into the world and delivered back through society. They will
give you their list of deeds to earn heaven or happiness. This work happens
because it appeals to our pride and ego; it allows us to feed our sinful nature
and still make a false claim of being religious. When, in fact, without Jesus,
there is no relationship with God.
Furthermore,
while works of pride feed our sinful nature and direct us into believing there
is something that we can do to earn our salvation, it is not what God said. He
saves us by grace, which is unrestricted, by faith in Jesus. Consequently, we
must believe in God and Christ Jesus as our Lord and Savior. There is nothing
more we can add to that great free gift.
In
James, we find that faith without works is dead (James 2:17); this is speaking
of our faithfulness to Christ. We serve Jesus because of His great love towards
us and our love for Him; we care for others for this exact reason. We love
others because and through the Great Love that Christ Jesus has for us. When
love presents itself in a church, it is the love reflected by the ones there
through our Lord and Savior's great love. All that we do and all that we are should reflect Christ Jesus's light to the world. Sometimes we drift away from
Jesus for a time, and our reflector becomes soiled, and we do not reflect the
light as we should. The beautiful aspect of this is that Jesus will never leave
us; although we might leave Him, He will always welcome us home with open arms,
as illustrated by the parable Jesus taught of the "Prodigal Son"
(Luke 15:11-32). Jesus used this illustration to reassure us that He would
always welcome us home with open arms. Once we become part of the Family of
God, no power in God's creation can separate us from the Love of God through
Christ Jesus; we will always be children of God, now and forever (Romans
8:38-39).
