Bible Verse of the Day Saturday March 23nd 2024

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.

Recently, there was a business attempting to share a message about God. The thought behind the company was that Jesus didn't teach hate but love. Throughout the advertisement, pictures showed individuals washing the feet of others. Toward the end of the ad, it said that Jesus didn't teach hate. Forgiving the sins of all people who accept Him as their savior, he washed the feet of His closest followers.

The facts confirm that Jesus didn't overlook sin. His lessons were clear: we ought to love everyone around us. Be that as it may, Jesus didn't teach us to endure or acknowledge sin. Jesus never said we ought to overlook the transgressions of everyone around us. He never said we should turn our eyes toward another path, looking beyond the wrongdoing that people around us are associated with. He teaches us true forgiveness,

The concept of taking a stand against sin in the eyes of the world is hate. If you stand firm for something, the world says you look down on that person. Yet, that is not reality by any stretch of the imagination. Standing firm against transgression isn't hate. Remaining against wrongdoing is what God wants us to do, as He tells us in His Word. He never teaches us to hate, yet He additionally doesn't teach us to acknowledge sin. Instead, we should speak the truth in love, call sin exactly what it is, and never hate those who commit sin. As Christians, we should love them and show them the example of Jesus.

In God's eyes, truth always comes first. The Christian worldview changes according to doctrinal lines. Living with the truth involves evaluating the facts and considering God's will and the truth of His Holy Word. It is the opposite of illusion. There is a need to consistently combine truth and relational faithfulness.

Today's church is permissive about "every wind of doctrine." Instead of steeping itself in Bible exposition, the church prefers trite, superficial, and non-substantive productions. Today, let us resolve to be committed to the truth. Not just taking a stand for the truth but doing so in love. Our heart's desire should be that those caught up in sin around us would see their sin and want to flee from it. We should stand for the truth, never from a position of hate but instead from a position of love.
